ALVERNO BOOKSTORE RETURN POLICY ALL RETURNED ITEMS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY RECEIPT 1. A full textbook refund will be made during the FIRST 10 DAYS FROM PURCHASE. Thereafter a 15% re-stocking fee will be assessed. Books purchased after mid-semester are non-returnable except at Buyback*. All books must be unmarked, in new condition. --Marred or marked books refunded at used prices ---Used books refunded at purchase price 2. For all items purchased by check, a waiting period of ten business days is required for return. 3. A check may be issued for refunds exceeding Bookstore cash availability and may take up to two weeks. You may also opt to have the refund given on a credit or debit card. 4. Only defective electronic products are returnable. 5. Software may be returned only if unopened. 6. All defective books will be replaced. Please return them with receipt as soon as the defect is noticed. *7. Used Book Buyback takes place at the end of each semester during final assessment week. Watch for posted dates and times. *8. Monday through Saturday, you may sell your books back for a reduced price (except during scheduled Buyback days).


Online Clothing Store

NOTE:Due to staffing and customer service priority, the Bookstore does not provide text ISBN numbers or prices via the Internet or the phone. While management understands the desire to seek alternative pricing options, the Alverno College Bookstore is here to serve the needs of students and customers by understanding the textbook business and Alverno’s use of textbooks in its curriculum, and by working with faculty to ensure quality. Students are welcome to comparison shop in person.

Please note these special hours: Most non-WEC Wednesdays the Bookstore will stay open until 7:00pm; the dates are: October 22nd, November 5th & 19th, December 3rd

Although our hours may not fit your needs exactly, we do want your business and will work with you as best we can to accommodate you. Many other options exist other than purchasing products from us only when the store is physically open. Please e-mail or call if you need special assistance for purchasing your texts or other college supplies.

The Bookstore end-of-semester book buyback dates have been changed from those originally listed in the Alverno Planner. THE CORRECT BOOK BUYBACK DATES: Dec. 6th 9-1, Dec. 8th 9-5, Dec. 9th 10-7, Dec. 10th 9-4. You do not need your receipt for book buyback, nor do we have a list of the books being bought back.
